Foggy Morning Feelings
When the raindrops drip over my window sill
As I gaze at the morning skies,
I see the fog crossing the hills in lingering waves
And it reflects how I feel on these days.

~ Your Life ~
There are days when I’m OK,
Days when I don’t speak your name
Out loud, except in my heart,
Days when the skies aren’t dark.
Then, there are days when I remember
How you grinned,
And my heart forgets
To smile again.
Oh Ken, I miss you so,
I love you so.
Please God, let him know
That the skies are still blue
And the bluebirds are too,
And, so am I, without you.

Ken’s Heavenly Music
In the heavens
You will hear,
The sound of a trumpet
Oh, so clear!
What a glorious sound
It makes all day,
As he plays
To light the way.
He stands on a mountain so tall
And everyone can hear him
Large and small,
Soothing music from my boy
And giving all so much joy.
If I’m very quiet
I can hear
Echoes of his music
Played while here,
Smiles he gave me as he played
Are so alive within my heart today,
Keep playing, my darling son,
I know you’re near.
