Your Life

Holding you near,
Your life - so dear,
Watching the flickering candles,
As I recalled each year.

How happy were we,
As you joined us three,
Our lives forever entwined,
Yours and mine.

The grins, the cries,
The laughs and sighs,
Of precious days gone by,
Are still with me and will always be.

Like a movie on the screen,
Your life unfolds before me,
Little moments - caught in time,
I see them all - and you're still mine.

Yellow, blue, green
I see,
Ribbons of light
Flying for you and for me.
On tails of balloons
They fly high,
To the sky -
Taking my love with them.
